PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

One of the reasons many of us belong to a local FPA Chapter is for easy access to professional education.  As a Chapter, we strive to bring that through our luncheon programs and symposium.  But, you may not be aware that your chapter is involved in a much larger undertaking.

For the past two years, we have been working directly with the UTSA Center for Professional Education to support the CFP® Certificant program that they offer.

A number of Board members have made themselves available as instructors for this program.  As we continue to evaluate these classes with the Center and gather feedback from the class participants, one thing is clear.  We need to have a larger instructor pool.

If you have experience in facilitating CFP® classes or closely related subjects, and are willing to make a commitment to professional education, we would like to discuss the instructor opportunities with you.  Please see me for more details.  We need the ongoing support of our Chapter to build success in the UTSA program.
